The structure of the film is compact, the narrative is direct, the clues are clear, and the pace is moderate. In fact, from some places, it is more like a documentary.
But the biggest difference between A MIGHTY HEART and a documentary is that there are no bystanders. The director strives to make the film both true to the documentary and full of emotional care. The film strikes a good balance between watching and experiencing.
No matter how big an event is, bystanders...

For a long time it belonged to a documentary No music kept telling the story of how things were going The
world was not as good as it was supposed to be In certain circumstances the individual was the nation
and the goddamn religions the goddamn wars The people who have killed so many
people working for peace and racial equality, you are all great, the
truth and the plain way of narration, but it brings a strong sense of shock.
There are so many...

Really moving things don't need to be sensational
Ideological stuff aside, this is a wonderful movie. A lot of characters are portrayed with the brushstrokes of the documentary, and a lot of "empty" shots are full of human sympathy and care.
I love the tone and the way it is cut like this. The director refused to turn this story into a "blockbuster", but chose to narrate and restore it calmly and objectively, so that the audience could feel ups and downs with the development of the situation as if watching a live broadcast. The...

Julie turned out to be so strong, the heart-piercing "No...No...No..." really shouted out the despair of future happiness after losing Danny, but when she "keep smiling" , life is full of hope. This fascinated woman...

This movie really has no plot at all, and if you like dramas, this movie is definitely not a good choice; but its preciousness lies in its real, real American journalists telling a story that happened in real Pakistan 's true story. You can see the dusty Karachi, the perseverance of American journalists in pursuing facts and truth, the firmness of Pakistani soldiers to maintain the dignity of the country, the meticulous care of relatives and friends, the strength of a woman who is expecting to...

War correspondents are always a group of freedom-loving, courageous and persevering people. The film based on real events may be because the entire crew revolves around Julie, so the plot is chaotic and unattractive. It is a little thin and pale to want to support the whole story through personal acting skills. All people living in conflict zones have mighty hearts, but unfortunately the soul of the film is not full...

As soon as Julie appeared on the scene, I thought the director really succeeded in concealing the brilliance of Julie under the character, but then, Julie was still Julie. I really didn't see the...

Captain: [after the two men have just watched a man be tortured] Are you okay?
Randall Bennett: [smiling nervously] Yeah.
Captain: We'll go easy on this next guy. He's a jihadi, spent time in Afghanistan. And he's a police officer.
Randall Bennett: Man, I love this town.
Mariane Pearl: [looking at a picture of her husband smiling while having a gun to his head] He says "fuck you" to them.
[first lines]
Mariane Pearl: [narrating] The day after 9-11, Danny and I flew to Pakistan. He was the South Asia Bureau Chief for the Wall Street Journal, and I was working for French Public Radio. Thousands of journalist from all over the world arrived in Islamabad to cover the war in neighboring Afghanistan. On the 7th October, bombing began.
