The wrong cast made me prejudiced from the start

The two little girls who appeared looked so old, and the Stall's daughter's wig was even more dazzling. What I mean is that when watching a movie, I don’t just want to watch the plot, listen to the soundtrack, and appreciate the handsome guys and beauties. If the handsome guys and beauties are stumbling from beginning to end, and the makeup is messed up, it will reduce the possibility of me appreciating them seriously.

      what should i do

If it is a lion, it will eat meat. The kindness and purity that I expect in my heart face the real world and the unbearable past. How to choose, the director just tells us the story from the perspective of a third party, how is the taste in it? Experience it slowly. Maybe this is a human being, I just want the accident not to happen. If it happens, I can only come according to my nature, but how to continue life after this is the inevitable pain and entanglement left in everyone's heart. The...

      unhappy

Brain disabled screenwriter + idiot director + errant actor = a naked bad movie.
I really can't control my complaining heart, people who say this movie is good, I don't care about you, because how can you have an aesthetic level in your life who grew up in a bad movie?
The beginning of the complaints: 1 The two robbers at the beginning of the film appeared so domineering, I thought it was a Quentin-style circular narrative structure and a Western-style film like the Coen...

Film Review: A History of Violence

7 points. The story is very old-fashioned, nothing more than a retired XX (you can fill in "special forces / commandos / police / killers, etc.) to get married and have children, and the previous shadow XX (please fill in "violent gang / land gangster / old superior / old subordinate" here ) to find him again, he had to come out again and kill all over the world. But I really like the director's description of the male pig family members this time, the impact of violence on them is the part I...

Can the devil who longs for heaven be forgiven?

First of all, congratulations and cheers for the acquaintance and cooperation between Cronenberg and VIGGO. They really fit to this extent, so that such a hopeless redemption is so unforgettable. In fact, I watched this film about half a year ago, but there are still two things that I can't forget. One is his wife holding her head to his name, the despair and heartbreak of his family, and the other is the ending where although it is open-ended, the result really doesn't matter.

Like many Hong Kong martial arts films, the peerless master quit the disputes in the rivers and lakes, but he was hidden in the city but was disturbed by the people in the rivers and lakes, and finally the master used a unique trick to destroy the gangsters. Such a simple story makes Cronenberg much better to tell, and there is a lot of...

This time, Cronenberg doesn't play with the demons and monsters that are deformed on the outside, but deals with the monsters inside people's hearts, the demons in the hearts of good fathers and good husbands, out of the...

    Behind the scenes gags

The location of Rich Cusack's residence in the film is from a fake French castle outside Toronto.
When filming the sex scene on the stairs, the actor did not use the special effect pad, so in the later naked shots on the bed, Edie's back showed signs of bruising and had to be covered by a makeup artist.
The scene where Tom killed two robbers in a restaurant was later cut out. In the original version, the young robber was shot seven times...

    Selection of personnel with

After the script was ready, New Line agreed to start shooting the film. The producer set up an office in Cronenberg's hometown of Toronto, Canada, and began recruiting the whole class in front of and behind the scenes. Photographer Peter Suscheski has filmed "Senses Games" and "Children's Nightmare". Cronenberg had no intention of asking Maria Bello to play the role, but when she met Cronenberg for the first time in Toronto, Cronenberg...

Edie Stall: If I see you within 500 feet of me or my children or my husband again, I will have you arrested!

      [Mr. Fogarty chuckles; unfazed]

Edie Stall: Can I possibly make myself any clearer than that?

Carl Fogarty: No, no, Mrs. Stall... you can't. I thank you for your time. You have an enchanting daughter. And Mrs. Stall... don't forget your shoes.
