The daughter of a disadvantaged single mother who suffers from dyslexia, played by Maggie Gyllenhaal, fights for a fair education opportunity and initiates a reform to challenge the rigid education system. Maggie and Viola are undoubtedly the essence of the whole film. Their wonderful interaction makes this originally boring story more watchable, but unfortunately, the film only shows us an event, not to the audience. Opportunity for deeper thinking....
