1940-1980. I really miss that movie era. No pretense is a long shot without pretense or art. In fact, I didn't expect to mention the issue of food additives, which shows the obsession of the French in the treatment of food culture in the 1970s. The black humour is hilarious, and Louis de Funès is so cute. The only shortcoming is that this film is actually dubbed in Mandarin, which is really embarrassing.
