A good slice. You can pair it up with the peasant GAY piece from Spain. There is still a little bit of extravagance in some places. It would be even better if this young man didn't go to paint (shelter...

Another gay movie in Cannes reminds me of Adele who just won the Palme d'Or this year. Israel, same-sex, the combination of these two words has a wonderful effect on its own. The content is nothing more than taboos and people's psychology. Generally speaking, this film is still watchable,...

Israel believes in Judaism.... -

Unexpectedly, it was such a choice in the end
Their lives are indeed very conservative. Until now, in the 21st century, religion still controls their thoughts so severely. The whole society is too depressing. This is also a world that the movie shows us. It is very painful. Compared with them, I feel that the society in which I live is much...

Rabbi Vaisben: [translated] He who dwells in abstinence is a sinner. A man who prevents himself from drinking wine is a sinner. He makes a sacrifice. Why? God doesn't want a man to suffer. He shouldn't cause himself sorrow. Why has God created the world? To make good for us, to ease our souls.
Aaron Fleischman: Rabbi, this doesn't satisfy me. He who drinks wine doesn't want to deal with the challenge. Worshipping God is an everyday duty. It means loving the difficulties. Being a slave of God means loving the hardship.
