The old politics is correct, and it’s not so disgusting, right? It’s still very interesting that a bunch of old actors were high at that time. What’s interesting is that such a high-level plot is too nonsense now... But Samuel Jackson So fuck, why do you need a...

The United States really does not make less racist movies, in exchange for the "harmony" of today's black president. Some places just want harmony, but nothing is allowed to be...

At a critical moment, the final speech always played a key role. The eloquence of the Americans is really good~~ The cast is quite powerful, but unfortunately no one makes the most of it. ....

Matthew McConaughey is still very suitable to play this kind of detective role. He is smart and wise, and he brings the role of a lawyer to the fullest. Of course, it is more about human nature. In fact, when I think about it, although there is no distinction between skin and hair in our country , There is no racial distinction, but there is also a gap between the rich and the poor. This gap may be no less than the blacks and whites at that time. People should be honest with each other, and...

Wow, black people are a vulnerable group, so murder doesn't need to be sentenced directly INNOCENT is released in court, otherwise it is racial discrimination. The director and the screenwriter really care about the head and the butt. . . The big fat nurse who showed up for a few seconds is THE HELP's best supporting...

Young Sandra Bullock, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Spacey, Samuel L. Jackson. Such a lineup is absolutely gorgeous today. The story is simple, but the road to fighting for rights and the transformation of ideas are bumpy. Samuel gave a very good performance. Although the lawyer Kevin Spacey has a small role, he has shown me the prototype of the politician who smashed his opponents to ashes in the house of...

Starlight Glimmer~~~ But the plot is a bit procrastinated, the scope of what I want to dabble in is too broad, so I haven't explained it thoroughly, and it is very anticlimactic. But what about four stars for the wool? That's because nympho fans have no bottom line. just...

The story is told like a middle school student's composition. Matthew was handsome when he was young, but his acting skills were so immature. Sure enough, acting can be practiced the day after...

  • Jake Tyler Brigance: [in his summation, talking about Tonya Hailey] I want to tell you a story. I'm going to ask you all to close your eyes while I tell you the story. I want you to listen to me. I want you to listen to yourselves. Go ahead. Close your eyes, please. This is a story about a little girl walking home from the grocery store one sunny afternoon. I want you to picture this little girl. Suddenly a truck races up. Two men jump out and grab her. They drag her into a nearby field and they tie her up and they rip her clothes from her body. Now they climb on. First one, then the other, raping her, shattering everything innocent and pure with a vicious thrust in a fog of drunken breath and sweat. And when they're done, after they've killed her tiny womb, murdered any chance for her to have children, to have life beyond her own, they decide to use her for target practice. They start throwing full beer cans at her. They throw them so hard that it tears the flesh all the way to her bones. Then they urinate on her. Now comes the hanging. They have a rope. They tie a noose. Imagine the noose going tight around her neck and with a sudden blinding jerk she's pulled into the air and her feet and legs go kicking. They don't find the ground. The hanging branch isn't strong enough. It snaps and she falls back to the earth. So they pick her up, throw her in the back of the truck and drive out to Foggy Creek Bridge. Pitch her over the edge. And she drops some thirty feet down to the creek bottom below. Can you see her? Her raped, beaten, broken body soaked in their urine, soaked in their semen, soaked in her blood, left to die. Can you see her? I want you to picture that little girl. Now imagine she's white.

  • Deputy Dwayne Powell Looney: [to Jake] Didn't you defend Billy Ray Cobb a few years back?

Jake Tyler Brigance: What kind of case was it?

Deputy Dwayne Powell Looney: Caught him selling dope. Spent time in Parchman. Got out last year.

Jake Tyler Brigance: I think some Memphis lawyer handled that. Why do you ask?

Deputy Dwayne Powell Looney: Well, we picked him up for rape. Him and Pete Willard.

Jake Tyler Brigance: Who'd they rape?

Deputy Dwayne Powell Looney: You know Carl Lee Hailey?

Jake Tyler Brigance: Sure, I defended his brother Lester.

Deputy Dwayne Powell Looney: It was his little girl.

    Jake Tyler Brigance: Little Tonya?

    [Deputy nods]

Jake Tyler Brigance: How old's she?

Deputy Dwayne Powell Looney: She's ten.
