Tom Skerritt, born on August 25, 1933 in Detroit, Michigan, USA, is an actor and director. Graduated from Mackenzie High School in Detroit, Wayne State University.
Entered the film industry in 1962, and won the Best Supporting Actor Award from the National Film Council in 1977 for "The Fairy Dancing". After the 1980s, TV films were mainly used.
Representative films include "The Way of One Person", " Merry Nurse ", "Dragon Explosion Order", " Alien ", "Death Line", "Sage" and so on. Appeared in more than 40 movies and more than 200 TV shows.
Personal Life
Skerritt has four adult children (three sons and one daughter) and a daughter who was adopted with his current wife.
Since 1988, his family has lived between his home on Lake Washington, a suburb of Seattle , and his home on Lopez Island in the San Juan Islands.
