Stephen Hill (1922-2016), American film and television actor. His two most well-known roles are the District Attorney Adam Schiff (1990-2000) in the NBC TV series " Law & Order " and the Columbia Broadcasting System TV series " Mission: Impossible " , the leader of the original Mission: Impossible troops Dan Briggs (Daniel Briggs, 1966-1967).
