    Character Evaluation

    Player period
Steve Kerr was born in Beirut , which means "City of Many Wells" in the local language. Although Cole has always played a role player in his player career, he has repeatedly become the team's "well" like the meaning of "the city of many wells". When the team needs it most, he provides key points like a water source   .
    Coaching period
Coach Steve Kerr saved my career. He trusted me and allowed me to reintegrate into the team's offense. He is very optimistic. I can feel his positivity every day when I am with him. I enjoy working with him very much. I think it will only make me better   .
Whether Steve Kerr will become a great master like Phil Jackson remains to be verified, but you can't deny that Cole has become an excellent politician on the coaching bench by playing with the wisdom of the Bay Area   .

    Character Dispute

In 2004, Steve Kerr referred to Yao Ming as "Chinaman" in a game commentary, which is a term with racial discrimination . The next day, Cole sent out a letter of apology. Cole said that his mistake was not intentional, but was purely caused by ignorance. He originally thought that like "Frenchman" to describe French people, "Chinaman" can also be used to describe Chinese people, but he didn't understand that this term has a strong derogatory meaning   .
