Although the plot is a little old-fashioned, focusing on the warmth of people and animals, the various cold and humorous settings are wonderful, children are happy, and adults are equally happy. I have watched several films recently with the theme of "the boring normal life is suddenly disrupted to discover the value of the old days". Sean is doing such a good job now that the movement doesn't feel like stop motion. The lighting is so complicated, especially three-dimensional. The joke is still very British cold.
