    Character Evaluation

Compared with American Westerns chasing romantic and action-oriented external rhythms, Sergio Leone turned to focus on exaggerating the atmosphere and describing the character's psychology. Close-ups, especially eye close-ups, use eye expressions to interpret the inside of the characters, and use eye expressions to tell the storyline to highlight the characters’ strong inner world and emotional world. Sergio Leone, who is full of Italian style but loves the United States, expresses his feelings for the United States with his unique European perspective. Under the real historical background, the continuous release of justice, evil, and friendship among ordinary people living in lies, violence, betrayal, and cruel reality is naturally true. Paying attention to history and respecting history formed Leon's unique epic realism style  .
There is no strict distinction between the good and the bad in Sergio Leone’s Italian westerns. The protagonist is no longer a cowboy but a bounty hunter. The one being chased is no longer an Indian but a criminal. It can be a criminal with full of evil, or a sentient one. Righteous criminals. In Leoné’s Italian westerns, there is rarely a big vision of the wild land in Hollywood westerns. Leon does not care whether the environment in which the story takes place is broad enough, because what he wants to express is not in the Hollywood westerns. It celebrates the pioneering spirit of the Americans, but merely expresses the characters. When expressing characters, Leone will use close-ups and wide-angle lenses. Leone also defined a new way of editing, that is, rhythm editing between the actor's iconic close-ups .
The western films filmed by Sergio Leone are very different from the real American western history in their era and geographical background. They neither pay attention to the textual evidence of western culture and history, nor do they praise the American ancestors who opened up the territory. In their eyes, the western part of the United States has transformed into what the Chinese call "jianghu", a world that cannot be controlled by law but solved problems by force, duel, and revenge. Among them are lone knights, green forest heroes, and brutal bandits. It is full of violence. Also full of legends. Leoni chose to create a confrontational atmosphere to express the heroic spirit of the heroic and dry clouds, just like the martial arts masters in Hu Jinquan's movies and the samurai confrontation in Kurosawa's movies. And all the fights in Leon's movie are only at the moment the shot is fired, the trigger is pulled, and life and death are on the line.  .

      Mediocrity after intertextuality and intertextuality

From the lineup of screenwriters, we can know that the artistic and box office success achieved in "The Stick of Heart" has turned into a comeback. Akira Kurosawa has always used Japanese culture and samurai ronin as the body to interpret American westerns. Stylized, and this film returns to the...

"Red Dead Redemption": I'm in the middle, the gun goes off

The bell rang in the border town of Mexico. When the arms dealers gang represented by Baxter was destroyed, and when the wine dealers gang headed by Lochos disintegrated, Joe stepped on his horse and experienced gunfire. Before the town,...

The imitation marks are too heavy. . . But it's really interesting to compare Red Dead Redemption and Intentional Stick. Both films have their own pros and cons. Just like most Hollywood movies and non-Hollywood movies, Red Dead Redemption is better in the completeness and compactness of the plot, and Intentional is better in the shaping of characters and atmosphere.

8.0/10 points. 2017.07.28 First look. I feel like it was fake at that time. The machine guns were fired, and everyone died. The horses were still circling in place, and there was no micro-dynamite. There was no hole in the body after being shot. is also like this. . . The plasma on my face felt like I had just smeared it with inferior red paint. It was too fake, haha. . . The plot is plagiarized from Kurosawa Akira's "Intentional Stick", and the overall is relatively solid. . .

    A Fistful of Dollars quotes

    • Joe: [He's hiding in an empty coffin outside the coffin-maker's shop] Come here.

      Piripero: I can't see anybody.

      Joe: Come here!

Piripero: [Goes over to a coffin on a wagon; Joe is inside] Dios mio!... What are you doing in there?

Joe: Never mind. Get me out of here.

Piripero: But, you're not dead yet.

Joe: I will be, if you don't get me out of here, quick. Get that lid down!

    • Consuelo Baxter: [Directed at the Rojos, who have just slaughtered her family] Murderers. They had no guns. Murderers! I hope you rot in hell! May you and your brothers die spitting blood! Curse you for this! MURDERERS!
