    Amesto played the Holy Roman Emperor Charles V in the "Tudor Dynasty" series (Charles V 1 episode, 2007). In the 2008 British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) version of Charles Dickens's novel " Little Dorrit " (Little Dorrit), he played Edmund Sparkler. In the movie " Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides " released in 2011 , Amesto played the Spanish King Fernando VI (King Ferdinand). Amesto also starred in the British science fiction adaptation of " Doctor Who " in 2005 . In addition, he also appeared as a Lieutenant Mitaka in Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens.
