      I really like the story of Matilda so much! From last year to this year, after reading the original novel → the adaptation of the musical scene → this movie, each form brought me the same but different moving and feeling. Admittedly, this is indeed an overly beautiful fairy tale, mixed with more idealized magical elements, but in essence it is still an inspiring and heart-warming story. Comparatively speaking, the film version is actually more straightforward than the presentation of the musical, lacking some of the strong atmosphere and conflicting effects rendered on the scene of the musical, but it also has innovative sections that are different from novels and musicals, those familiar or The novel clips all make me laugh or smile. It's so good, they found each other through their own efforts ❤
