In March 2010 he was selected as the director of " Rise of the Planet of the Apes ". After the film was released in August 2011, it was widely acclaimed.
    In 2015, Rupert Wyatt decided to direct the superhero movie " Gambit " starring Channing Tatum , which is expected to be shot within the year and will be released on October 7, 2016 .
