    Early Experience

Robert Rodriguez grew up in a large family in San Antonio. His mother gave birth to 10 children and he ranked in the middle. Since he was a child, he has liked to hold a pencil, write and draw anytime, anywhere, and record everything around him. Later, Rodriguez found the old "Super 8" camera at home and began his film career. From the beginning, he wanted to play all kinds of movies: action, science fiction, horror, plot and even the kind of animation that was shot frame by frame. He took the shots near the yard, looked for useful props everywhere, and mobilized the whole family to be his cast and crew.
In 1981, his father, a salesman, brought him a new and more professional camera. Later, Rodriguez became more and more out of control and devoted his entire life to making movies. He took his friends into the camera, and the children desperately wanted to "star" in his next work. Others handed in the semester report at the end of the due date, and he was given permission to hand in the "semester film". Neighborhood kids called him "the kid movie"   .

    Character Evaluation

Robert Rodriguez has formed a relatively distinct image style in his film creation. Compared to other film directors, he solemnly uses film as a tool for expressing his mystery. Rodriguez, who is engaged in film work with a playful heart, prefers to use film as a canvas for his wanton swaying, thus forming his own set of violent aesthetic expressions. When people are discussing Rodriguez's film achievements, the aesthetics of violence cannot be avoided. In different movies, Rodriguez made breakthroughs on himself consciously. Even if it is the same violence theme, Rodriguez is also exploring various forms of violence. It can be said that Rodriguez is a director who has never concealed his admiration for violence, and has opened up a path of violence of his own .
