That piece of the puzzle that the audience will never see
When you look back at these wonderful old movies, you should regard those exaggerated arcs of characters as the "beauty mole" in the film age. This mole is like the clown that Brecht hopes often appear in theaters, reminding you to pay...

The [Demon] who manipulated the audience to send the master Clouzot's portrayal of guilt can be regarded as a long and powerful, and the use of the lens of the climax is really creepy. What is even more powerful is the previous layers of foreshadowing, small details and small turning points, which can be said to be lifted step by step. What makes the film better than many similar crime films is that its mysterious production is completely close to the characters of the three protagonists. The development of the whole story corresponds to their psychological changes, so it fully fits the definition of "psychological thriller". The moralizing tendencies of the finale must presumably have to be attributed to the conservative thinking of the 1950s.

Damn, such a boring first half actually ushered in such an awesome climax, such an awesome scene scheduling, first a typical 400-style boarding school, followed by a typical love scene of two women and one man, and then murder , and then the Hitchcock-style "MacGuffin" suspense, and finally ushered in an "unbelievable genre film ending". Holy crap!
