  • Ralph Rexford Bellamy (Ralph Bellamy), born in Chicago in 1904 , actor. After graduating from high school, he entered the stage and worked as an actor, director, artist and props officer in 15 troupes for ten years. In 1927, he organized his own theater company-Ralph. Bellamy's troupe of actors. In 1929, he failed to perform on Broadway . In the early 1930s, he went to Hollywood and starred in many B-rated films. In 1937, he was nominated for the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in the comedy " The Awful Truth ". Participated in the movie " Pretty Woman " in 1990 .
