    Early Experience

    Patrick J. Adams was born on August 27, 1981 in Toronto , Canada . After his parents divorced at the age of 19, he moved to Los Angeles , was admitted to the University of Southern California , and received a bachelor of acting. While in college, he served as the artistic director of the student theater and won a Jack Nicholson scholarship . 

    Performing Experience

    In 2001, Patrick, who was still studying in USC, starred in the first short film For the Record. 
    In 2004, Patrick appeared in the American TV series for the first time. He appeared as a suicidal homosexual Matt Kramer in the first episode of "The Two Brothers" Episode 10 "Dead Boys". This episode won the GLAAD ( GLAAD ) Media Award for his high evaluation .
    Since then, Patrick has starred in "Appearance", "Christmas in Boston", " Weather Girl ", "The Dealership" and other works; guest starred in " Cold Case ", " Close to Home ", " Numb3rs ", " Commander in Chief" ", " Lost ", " Naval Criminal Investigative Service ", " Ghost Whisperer ", " Lie to me ", " Pretty Little Liars ", " Flash forward " and other American dramas   . On January 30, 2018, USA officially announced that Patrick will withdraw from "Suits" after the end of Season 7   .
    In March 2018, Patrick directed, wrote, and starred in the short film "We Are Here"   . In September 2018, Patrick and his wife Troian Avery Bellisario starred in the film "Clara" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival  .

    Personal Life

    Patrick J. Adams and Troian Avery Bellisario (played by Spencer in "Pretty Little Liars") dated for a while when they collaborated on the drama Equivocation in 2009, but then broke up. The two reunited after Patrick made a guest appearance in "Pretty Little Liars" in 2010   . Patrick and Triann got engaged in 2014 and got married on December 10, 2016   .
