The story is restored, the plot and most of the details are no problem, but the ambiguous tone of the original is missing-this is the most difficult point of this novel. The dramatic rendering is also weak. And Nick is almost marginalized. Looking forward to the new edition this year

A great story becomes mediocre on screen, the plot drags down Robert Redford to the point of sweating, and Mia Farrow's dramatic exaggeration leaves nothing but artificial disgust.
