    Character Evaluation

Noah Baumbach is a unique and important voice in the American film production industry   . He is best at discussing the hidden emotional undercurrents in the family. He is tepid, but he can show keen insight in the details   . The trivial married life, the black life with mixed joys and sorrows, and the urban stories of small people are all classic routines in Noah Baumbach's films. As an independent film director, although Noah Baumbach looks full of artistic temperament, his works can always deduce a delicate and plain style. Compared with Hollywood commercial films, Noah Baumbach will obviously complete independent films in a very short time .

      Nicole's leaning and low-key salvation

It was a gloomy afternoon when I watched this movie, the image turned black, and charming indie music sounded with the subtitles. Of course, as an independent film, how could it lack the harmony of independent music until the end of the three beautiful songs? , I still feel unfulfilled.

      Unimaginable sisters

In fact, I went to Nicole at first, because the beautiful hat on the poster set off Nicole's delicate face and it really attracted my attention. After watching the whole film in one breath, there was an unspeakable feeling. Why is Margot like this? What happened to their family? Why do sisters...

      What is this movie about?

    Margot at the Wedding quotes

    • Claude: Did she poop in her pants?

Margot: It happens to everyone, not just babies. It will happen to you too someday.

    • Malcolm: Paul apologizes for not coming. She's still getting the house ready.

Margot: I'm sorry it was such short notice.

Malcolm: I don't care. Paul's frantic, but I don't give a shit. Oh, and Ingrid wants me to tell you that she made us all bracelets.

Ingrid: No, I said we should wait.

Malcolm: I thought you asked me to tell them. Anyways, I got Knicks colours.

      Ingrid: They're not Knicks colours!

      Margot: It's beautiful, Ingrid.

Ingrid: Where's your dad and Josh?

      Claude: They might come later.

Margot: Josh's spring break is next week, and then Jim teaches through Friday. Then he opens the house in Vermont on the weekend.

Malcolm: It means a lot to Pauline that you came.

      Margot: Good.

Malcolm: [swerving to avoid a car] Holy Jesus! Watch it, dicksack! God! If you're wondering about the mustache...

      Margot: No, I wasn't.

Malcolm: I had a full beard for a while, and then when I shaved it I left this part for last, you know, to see how it looked. And... it's meant to be funny.
