Neelam the VJ: And his message is for...
Rahul Khanna: For Anjali. I love you, Anjali.
[a shocked Anjali Sharma turns around to see Rahul on the TV]
Rahul Khanna: I love you very much. Why have you left me and gone? You know I feel lost without you. Come back or else... Just come back. I really love you, and I miss you very much. Please come back.
Neelam the VJ: Who is Anjali?
Rahul Khanna: She's my 8-year-old daughter.
[Anjali looks back at the TV, even more shocked]
Rahul Khanna: She's gone to some camp in Shimla. Hey, Neelam, can you tell her to come back? She'll listen to you.
Neelam the VJ: Uh huh. Anjali, Papa really loves you. Come back soon. He misses you. Come back home. Okay?
[Anjali runs to where Young Anjali is sleeping and looks at the picture. She sees that Young Anjali's mother is Tina. She holds the picture close to her and cries]

Mrs. Sharma: Aman, since the wedding is in December, why don't you go back to London for a while?
Aman Mehra: No. I'm not budging from here.
Mrs. Sharma: Why?
Aman Mehra: I don't trust your daughter.
Mrs. Sharma: Aman?
Aman Mehra: She's taken forever to agree to the marriage. Until we, uh... What do they call it?
Mrs. Sharma: Tie the knot.
Aman Mehra: Tie the knot! I'm not going anywhere.
Mrs. Sharma: Crazy. You love her a lot, don't you?
Aman Mehra: Nah... Yes. But, I get the feeling that... she doesn't love me.
[Mrs. Sharma gasps, but then quietly flips through some papers again]
Aman Mehra: She doesn't, right?
[Mrs. Sharma still doesn't answer]
Aman Mehra: Hey, Mother-in-law... She doesn't, right?
Mrs. Sharma: Aman, you... you've gone mad.
[She leaves as Aman becomes sad]
Aman Mehra: She didn't answer.
