Horror theme resurgence?

This film is different from the usual showy gory movies. At the beginning, the atmosphere is excellent, the setting of severe cold and no sunshine for 30 days gradually leads the audience to despair and darkness. The most outstanding thing about this film is that it is emotional and focuses on human nature; at the end, the hero's decision makes me reflect on the meaning of "love". Fortunately, the director has no ambition, so he tells a simple story of good and evil, and the atmosphere is not bad. The male protagonist is very tall. (By the way, I don't seem to see Josh Hartnett much in the past few years)
