Psychological and cultural analysis of characters in Mid90s movies

The first time I watched Mid90s was on a plane that took more than ten hours from New York to Hawaii. During the black and white blurry day and night, in the dim cabin with dozens of people, the color of Mid90s movie was slightly darker, just like wet rain. The weather is the same, I thought it was...

      Kid you don't look alright

I kept guessing if this was an autobiography of the writer-director, who I previously recognized as the fat mad man in Wolf of Wall Street. He could be anyone, and this movie could happened anywhere in America in the mid 90s. Why is studying and going to harvard corny? Why is Stevie always alright...

Jonah Hill's directorial debut, I personally think it's not bad! Although I have to say that this whole tone feels a little vague and vaguely familiar. It's one of my favorite children's films this year. It seems that "Eighth Grade" is really too bad. While the whole article is full of swearing, nicotine, alcohol, pussy, lies, yelling, skateboarding, and all the messages of rebellion and incompatible with children, it's this wild, raw force that fascinates me, except for the skateboard and drug parts , this is completely the flip of my dirty childhood memory, that little boy who is confused and does not know the correctness and cannot distinguish black and white, after every decision he is overwhelmed, the chaos of the original family and the dizzy interpersonal relationship, the lack of a father image in Guidance in childhood life, it is easy to lose yourself and fall into the quagmire. A few friends who rebellious image are cool just because they are different from others. Fortunately, the little black brother took on part of the role of a father and a friend. The last crash Chaos this bad game, commemorating the chaotic, rebellion and freedom of the 90s with a DV clip from the fourth grade. Similar to "Florida Paradise", those dirty crushed seedlings can always lift up rocks and become towering trees.

    Mid90s quotes

Fuckshit: This nigga think he Spielberg or some shit. You know you gotta say words to make movies, nigga, I ain't heard you talk but twice.

Fourth Grade: [mumbling] Yeah, I guess it's a stupid idea.

      Fuckshit: Yes it was.

    • Ruben: I'm skating like shit today, man.

      Stevie: Looks cool to me.
