In 2008, the thriller crime film " Fallen Angels " directed by him was released. In 2011, directed the action thriller film " Headhunters " [1]  , which was shortlisted for the 66th British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards-Best Non-English Film Award [2]  . In 2014, he directed the biographical film " The Imitation Game " [3]  , for which he won the Best Director Award at the Hollywood Film Awards [4]  . In 2016, directed the science fiction film " Passengers " [5]  . In 2019, he served as the director of the science fiction film "West Gap".

    Morten Tyldum graduated from the School of Visual Arts in New York in his early years. In 1991, directed his first short film "U". In 1996, directed the short film "En mann må gjøre det han må". In 2000, directed the short film "Fort Forover". In 2003, directed the romantic comedy "Buddy" co-starring Nicolai Cleve Broch and Aksel Hennie . In 2008, the thriller crime film " Fallen Angels " directed by him was released.
    In 2011, directed the action thriller film " Headhunters " co-starring Aksel Hennie and Synnøve Macody Lund . The film was adapted from the novel of the same name written by Norwegian writer Joe Nesbo , and was nominated for the 25th European Film Awards Audience Award, 66th The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards Film Award-Best Non-English Film Award .  
    In 2014, directed the biographical film " The Imitation Game " co-starred by Benedict Timothy Carlton Cumberbatch and Keira Christina Knightley . The  film was adapted from the biography "Alan Turing" written by Andrew Hodges, which tells the story of "Computer Science". The legendary life of "Father" Alan Turing. The story focuses on Turing assisting the Allied forces in deciphering the German cryptographic system "Ingmar", thereby reversing the experience of World War II. He won the People's Choice Award at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival -Best Feature Film Award   , and he won the Best Director Award   at the Hollywood Film Awards for the film nominated for the 87th Oscar Award for Best Director   .
    In 2016, directed the science fiction film " Passengers " co-starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt . In 2017, he co-directed the science fiction thriller " Counterpart Season 1 " with Eric Sakharov , which was co-starred by Jonathan Kimble Simmons and Harry Lloyd . In 2018, he co-directed the action thriller film " Jack Ryan Season 1 " with Daniel Shakheim . In 2019, directed the science fiction film "West Gap".

    Morten Tyldum lives in Beverly Hills in Los Angeles with his wife Janne and their children. They also have a residence in Norway   .
