Early Experience
A freelance criticizes celebrities in film and music. 1970s. Formed a band called "The Quintet", which was disbanded in 1976. In 1977, Mick Garris was in George Lucas’s new company Star Wars. Through industry contacts, he created and served as the Los Angeles cable access talk show. The show is called "Fastasy Film Festival" on the host's receptionist screen. Guests include producers John Landis, Joe Dante, John Carpenter and Steven Spielberg and actors like William Shatner and Christopher Lee.
