#PYIFF# Baby Teeth comes across as oppressive, but with a mix of confidence and maturity in its tone, it's hard to believe that a movie can both destroy souls and please the audience. What seems familiar in the film, the director brings out in such a special and silently spectacular way, and it is very compelling.
