    In 1979, Augiefer played the role of Ben Meechum, a basketball teenager who was struggling with the strict education of his military father in the movie " The Great Santini " directed by Lewis John Carlino . With his outstanding performance in this film, Ojifer won the 53rd Oscars Best Supporting Actor Award and the 38th Golden Globe Awards Film Best New Actor Award.
    In 1980, Ogilvy soon starred in the movie " Little Caddy " and once again played a basketball teenager Danny Noonan.
    In 1988, Augiefer played the role of Fred in the TV series " Roxane " directed by Gail Mancuso .
