When he first danced in 1955, he entered the project directed by Ernst Ingmar Bergman . In the following ten years, he shot more than a dozen Bergman's works, most of which have become immortal classics. He is good at playing oppressive and severe characters. In 1965, he played Jesus in the Hollywood production " The King Of Kings ". After that, he traveled all over the world in film circles. In the HBO drama " Game of Thrones Season 6 ", which was launched in 2016 , Max von Saideau played the role of the prophet "Three-Eyed Raven" north of the Great Wall, guiding Brandon Stark .
On March 8, 2020, Max von Sydow passed away at the age of 90
