Marc Blucas, whose full name is Marcus Paul Blucas, was born on January 11, 1972 in Butler, Pennsylvania, USA. He played basketball in high school and college. Due to his athletic talent, he received a full scholarship while studying at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, Northern California. After graduating from university, he played for the Manchester Giants in Europe for a year. His acting career began when the producer of Eddie (1996) wanted to find a young man who could play basketball and had a fat baby face.
