Augusta Summerland (Linda Harrison), American actress. It became famous for the role of Charlton Heston 's silent companion "Nova" in the 1968 classic science fiction film " Planet of the Apes " and its sequel (" Beneath the Planet of the Apes ") . She is the second wife (1969–1978) of the legendary filmmaker Richard D. Zanuck ( Richard D. Zanuck ); her youngest son is the producer Dean Zanuck .
