He chose the title of the book to show that after years of performing this character, he finally made him realize the similarities between him and this character. When he plays Spock, he always thinks about how the characters will react in a certain situation. Over the years, such considerations have led him to develop a new perspective on the world. He thought he would not have such a view if he had not played this role. So Nimoy said in this autobiography that from a certain point of view he is indeed Spock , and Spock is him. Even so, he can still distinguish between fantasy and reality.
