    Character Evaluation

Leigh Whannell has extensive experience in telling supernatural stories   . As a director, he has a clear preference for physical horror—referring to the intertwined form of abnormal physique and physical aggression .
In the movie "Insidious Chapter 3", the director Leigh Whannell organically combined the vital jump scare with the skilled stage illusion, but the most surprising thing was its emotional core. Moreover, he vividly revealed the motives of the psychic Ellis using his talent to help people possessed by the devil, not only the main line is clear, but also to avoid excessive crossover with the first two works of the series. Although its horror scenes rely too much on the use of jumping scares, they are full of emotional undercurrents. However, the film has some horrible moments that are beautifully handled, but in order to justify it, some of the previous central characters have been forgotten in the corner .
