    After graduating from Miami Middle School in Florida , he studied art in acting and performance. At the age of 17 On the stage ; and made his debut on the screen in Thriller "The Seventh Year Victim", and then starred in ""And "Too Unreal Land" and other films, and have outstanding performances.
    In 1947, she starred in the drama " A Streetcar Named Desire ", and in 1951 played the same role in the film of the same name, and therefore won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress and Golden Globe Awards for Best Supporting Actress .
    In 1952, she was named one of the top ten stars of tomorrow by the theater business, but due to political reasons, her acting career went from bad to worse, and she faded out of the movie circle.
