What's even cooler than this political thriller is to hear Costa Gavras speak calmly about the storm in May, and the stories of the New Wave gang, how they fought against Cannes, and how they dealt with American invitations. The temptation to talk about his own attitude and views on the film. This is probably the most interesting post-screening talk I've ever heard, a tribute to the old man.

The hypocrisy of the dictatorship (actually, the military government of Greece) is unmistakably exposed in this film. The film is adapted from real events in Greece, and it seems very real. The soundtrack of the film is also good. Ironically, the person who made the soundtrack for the film, Mikis Theodorakis, was once arrested by the Greek military government.
