    In 1949, he moved to Hong Kong with his parents. In 1954, he took over the first film " Tear of a young concubine " and officially debuted.     Josephine Siao was born Xiao Liang on March 13, 1947 in Shanghai. His ancestral home is Luzhi Town , Wu County, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province . His father Xiao Naizhen has studied in Germany and his mother Cheng Fenghui is a painter. Josephine Siao moved to Hong Kong with her parents when she was 2 years old, but her father died when she was 3 years old, leaving her and her mother to depend on each other   .
    Josephine Siao, who had been in the film since childhood, had no time to receive formal education, so her mother hired several tutors to teach her cultural lessons and learn English. Mother also asked her to follow Ju-hua Fen , Wang Renman, and Fu Lei to learn Peking opera, ballet, and calligraphy respectively. She also learned painting, horse riding, archery, sword dancing and kung fu.     

    Performing Experience

    In 1953, the 6-year-old Josephine Siao played the role of Sun Shaoye Gao Haichen in the stage play "Home".  .
    In 1954, just after Josephine Siao’s 7th birthday, Xiao’s mother’s friend director Li Hua invited Josephine Siao to play a guest role in her new play "Tear of a young concubine", and Josephine Siao has officially stepped into the film industry.  .     Josephine Siao married Zhang Zhengfu in 1980 and had two daughters after their marriage. In 1985, Zhang Zhengfu was invited to work in Australian TV.
