      "My Mother Loves the Most"

Unconditional love is what life longs for, but it is often heartbreaking. In the movie, the heroine struggles to find the unconditional love for half a lifetime, but finds that the person who can bring this love to herself is herself.

No matter what she encounters and anyone, any decision, what to...

The middle-aged crisis of a divorced old aunt

The first half of 3.5 is a bit like the "Fading Gigolo-2013" I watched a few days ago, but no one can steal the limelight of Aunt Moore, and at the end I think of her performance of Samuel Beckett's "Not I".

Barely pass. Like "Fun Game", the director made a re-enactment of the American version of his film. Of course, this film can be made, mainly because of Moore's energy. I haven't seen the original version, but like "Ordinary Woman", it is a combination of neon tones and restrained characters, and there are many large spot shots with backlighting. The interesting thing is that the movie uses a kind of medium A swaying eye between intimacy and indifference, to observe a 58-year-old middle-class divorced woman who became a grandmother (Moore is really not suitable to be called an old woman), and gradually broke down when dating a man with similar conditions. The man is obviously burdened by his own family, and the plot gradually reveals that Moore, who seems to be able to handle or has already adapted to similar shackles, is actually exhausted and only the last straw is left. Of course, after finally venting to the man, Moore hummed in the car as usual. Seems like the reboot is done again. Moore's nude scenes show excellent upkeep, but her performance lacks true sadness as a result. The director is extremely patient in stacking details, he likes to use a state of ecstasy to present characters in interpersonal difficulties

    Gloria Bell quotes

    • Gloria: When Peter was little, he went into my purse and made a gun out of a tampon.

      [Everybody laughs]

      Arnold: What was the trigger?

    • Vicky: The fact that a civilian can just walk in and buy a *military-style assault rifle* is just beyond me.

Arnold: Well, the majority of gun owners *are* responsible.

      Vicky: Okay!

      [scroffs]

      Vicky: Uhh...

Charlie: [interrupting] This is not about the majority.

Vicky: [continues without stopping for Charlie] The responsibility that you're *referring* to is what is going to blow up the whole planet.

Charlie: The planet is as good as blown up already my dear. We're just arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic at this point.

      Vicky: Uh-huh.

Arnold: I don't think we should panic. Everything goes in cycles, it's natural. Besides, every generation thinks it's the end, the worst it's ever been.

Charlie: And one generation will be right.

Gloria: [not feeling connected with this conversation] Well, when the world blows up, I hope I go down dancing.
