Andrea Arnold really knows how to use subjective shots, and his portrayal of the characters' mentality and emotions is fascinating. Although the various characters are far apart from the original, the combination of them is the essence of the novel, and the cold and crazy atmosphere is brought into full play. This is a stylized and innovative remake.
