It’s so happy for a beloved director to shoot books by a beloved writer! Lehane's writing style and Roskam's directing style go hand in hand. One work is full of irreversible fate, and the other is good at portraying humanity and tragedy with animal images. The collision between the two is wonderful. Bob is officially ranked in the top three of my favorite Lehane characters. Lao Shi, JG, Mimi and Matti's performances are amazing, and Lao Shi's raising a dog adds a sense of intimacy.
