  • Jerry Lewis (Jerry Lewis, March 16, 1926-August 20, 2017) was born in the State of New Jersey in the United States. He is a famous American comedian, film and television drama and stage actor, film producer, screenwriter and director. The American comedy industry has a profound impact.
    Jerry Lewis has starred in 94 films and filmed 14 cinematographic works . Formed a pair of popular comedy partners with the later entertainment star Dino . In 1949, they co-starred in the movie "My Friend Irma" (My Friend Irma), thus starting their own During his screen career, his most famous work is " The Nutty Professor " (later remake, starring Edward Regan Murphy ), his comedy acting talent is deeply loved by every audience.
    On August 20, 2017 local time in Las Vegas, Jerry Lewis passed away at home at the age of 91. [1]

He has unforgettable performances in " The Nutty Professor " and Martin Scorsese version of "The King of Comedy". He won the 56th Venice International Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award in 1999 , and won the 81st Oscar Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award in 2009.   In "Trust" released in 2016, he also played the role of Nicholas Cage's father in the film.
