      villain love

We can actually see that james' love for periscilla is that even though the girl finally got married and had children, when she went to find evidence to help her, james still went to help her, and sacrificed her own for...

Little is known, let's promote it

As one of the early classics that influenced Hong Kong gangster films, the character structure and performance are really excellent. The final set of shots is absolutely classic.

[My favorite Cagney work is the well-deserved big brother in all his films. ] AN EPIC OF TIME AND HISTORY. A TRUE NOIR. The film really does what it said in the preface, it is a romantic and tragic memory. Cagney is also great? A wonderful performance beyond the times, slap the thigh! Cool brother plus cool brother's rivalry is so charming, I just don't know who to watch, it's so fun! Walsh is good at filming, and he really provides inspiration for Wo Zhan, thank you~

nice! A World War I veteran from a simple car mechanic to a gangster who rose and fell with the Great Depression of Prohibition, the fate of one person told the entire 1920s. The fast-paced narrative also has vivid characters. The announcer-like narration lends the film an epic feel, though it becomes a bit of a melody by the time Roosevelt takes the stage. It's very rare for Bogart not to be handsome in the whole film, the last few expressions are so funny haha

    The Roaring Twenties quotes

    • Henderson: [talking about Jean and Eddie] She seems like a nice kid. I hope she can out-talk him.

Panama Smith: I hope she can outrun him.

    • George Halley: You must've been readin' about Napoleon.

      Eddie Bartlett: What's botherin' you?

George Halley: First, you used to ask me about things, then you began to tell me, now you ignore me. My feelin's is gettin' hurt.

Eddie Bartlett: Oh, my poor delicate little rose bud. Ain't that a shame. Just as long as your bank roll ain't hurtin', you got nothing to squawk about.
