    In 1989, Isaac entered the showbiz. In 1998, his participation in " Armageddon " made him appear in Hollywood. In 2000, as Colonel Taviton in " The Patriot " was nominated for the British Supporting Actor of the Year Award. [2]  In 2001, he participated in " Black Hawk Down ". In 2002, played Lucius Malfoy (Lucius Malfoy) in the "Harry Potter" series . In 2006, Mark Burleton, who played in " The State Within ", won him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Miniseries/TV Movie. [2]  The " Brotherhood " series starring in 2006 has been nominated for Best Actor in a Satellite Award Drama Series. In 2011, starring in the TV series " Case Histories " won him two Dagger Award nomination and Emmy's best actor performance nomination. [2]  In 2012, starring in the TV series " Awake " was nominated for the IGN Summer Film Award-IGN Best TV Actor Award. In 2017, he played Captain Gabriel Lorca in " Star Trek: The First Season of Discovery " and was nominated for the British Empire's Best TV Actor Award and the Saturn Award for Best TV Actor. [2] 
    In 2015, he won the Best Male Voice Performance Award in a TV Series-Action/Drama for his dubbing in " Star Wars: The Rise of the Rebels" at the BTVA TV Voice Performance Awards. [2] 

    Performing Experience

    Jason Isaacs wanted to be a lawyer at first, a white-collar person like his brothers who became lawyers, doctors and accountants. In the University of Bristol after graduating with a law degree, he turns to the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama to hone their skills. 
    He first appeared on widescreen in 1989, in Mel Smith's "The Tall Guy" film, playing a doctor. In the same year, he got a fixed role in the TV series "Capital City". Since then, he has also participated in many films. In 1998, Bruce Willis' performance in the film Armageddon won him recognition in Hollywood.
    In 2001, Jason was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the ALFS Award for his performance in The Patriot (The Patriot).
    In 2002, he was nominated for the PFCS Award Best Performance Team for "Black Hawk Down".
    In 2003, he was again nominated for the PFCS Award for Best Performance Team for "Harry Potter and the Vanishing Chamber". One of his familiar roles is to play the evil and charming Mr. Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter .

    Personal Life

    Jason Isaacs was born in Liverpool, the third of the four children of Sheila and Eric Isaacs. Both his parents came from Jewish families (Eastern Europe), and their ancestors immigrated to the UK from Belarus, Russia and Poland, mainly settled in Liverpool. He studied law at the University of Bristol and graduated with a law degree in 1985, but decided to study acting. During the University of Bristol, he directed and/or participated in more than 20 works. Later, he studied at the Central Academy of Language and Drama and graduated in 1989. 
    Jensen met his wife Emma Hewitt at the Central School of Speech and Drama in the UK. The two graduated in 1989 and have two daughters.
