James Taylor (James Taylor), born in Boston in 1948 , is an American folk singer. He is a leader of the Singer-songwriter Movement in the 1970s. He is known for his restrained and melancholic singing style. The album " Sweet Baby James " was released in 1970. "Is a classic in Folk rock . The 1976 collection " Greatest Hits Album Album " was certified by Diamond disc . A total of 16 studio albums , 4 collections, and 4 live albums were released. The record sales in the United States alone reached 33 million (RIAA), and won 5 Grammy Awards in total .
