This is the first time I've seen a film adaptation of a famous book that uses shaky camera hand-held photography. The audio-visual elements of the whole film are very rich, almost building a whole new world. The actor's lines are very textual, I don't know if they are deliberate. As for the theme, it's still an extremely personal repetition of AA, nothing new.
