James Earl Boggins Jones (James Earl Jones), born on January 17, 1931, is an actor from The United States of America .

He is also known for the characterization of William Shakespeare and his work as a TV actor and narrator. Representative works include Darth Vader in " Star Wars " and Mufasa in " The Lion King " . In June 2017, he won the 71st Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Theatre Lifetime Drama Achievement Award.
