    In 1983, Hugo Weaving starred in the movie "The Edge of the City" and entered the entertainment industry. In 1991, Hugo played the blind photographer Martin in the film "Evidence" and won the Best Actor Award from the Australian Film Association. In 1999, he played the role of Smith Operator in the sci-fi action movie " The Matrix ". In 2001, he played the elven lord of Lin Gu in the "Lord of the Rings" film series. Since 2007, he has dubbed Megatron in the " Transformers " series of films. In 2011, Hugo Weaving played the role of the villain "Red Skull" in the movie " The First Avenger " and played six roles in the movie " Cloud Atlas ".
