The style is still great but the script fails
I've seen Michael Mann's films "The Wire" and "Murder by Borrowing a Knife". The style is very obvious, and so is "Miami Vice". Regardless of whether the film is good or bad, the tone, image style, soundtrack, and lines are all his. work.

TV feels heavy, like watching a long episode of a TV show
I didn't plan to watch this, but there were no good movies for a few weekends, and he wanted to watch it again. He thought that watching it without any expectations might be a surprise, but it turned out, as I thought, it was boring. Maybe Better to watch an episode of "24" or "CSI".
