Giancarlo Esposito
Giancarlo Esposito, born in Copenhagen on April 26, 1958, is Italian-American, film and television actor and director.
The well-known films in which he participated are " Do the Right Thing ", " The Usual Suspects ", " King of New York ", "Et Salammbo?" and so on. In addition, he is also known for playing Gus Fring in the AMC drama " Breaking Bad ".
With this role, he won the 2012 American Critics' Choice TV Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series.
Early Experience
Esposito was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. His father is Italian and his mother is African American. After the age of 6, Esposito left Europe with his parents and settled in Manhattan, New York City, USA.
Performing Experience
Esposito debuted on the Broadway stage at the age of 8 , playing a nigger kid in a stage play. In the 1980s, Esposito began to appear in many movies. In 1988, he made a breakthrough in his acting career by performing in the director Spike Lee's "School Daze" (School Daze). Esposito played the role of the evil queen's magic mirror and the "Daily Mirror" Sidney in the ABC drama "Once Upon a Time" (Once Upon a Time). He will also play a bounty hunter in NBC's 2012 fall new drama "Revolution".
