    Character Evaluation

George Lucas is like a lonely gifted craftsman, creating a world that belongs only to him   . He incorporated unlimited imagination and the most avant-garde technology into film art   ( ).
George Lucas seems to be better at arranging the plot of the film, but not good at exploring the themes of the film in depth. This is the biggest difference between George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. He is more diligent in his career in film and television. He always projects sunlight on those novel works of unique style, hoping to discover the material and use his talented production ability to create more influential film and television works   . In the "Star Wars" series, George Lucas showed a stable way of storytelling, and it provided inspiration for Hollywood's creative direction in the new era. In terms of narrative techniques, Lucas is well versed in popular literature, and constantly uses humor and sadness to adjust the narrative rhythm and drive the emotions of the audience. From the point of view of aesthetic taste, Lucas's profound classical complex permeates the film's story archetype. Although science fiction films often point to the future, Lucas has repeatedly emphasized the past in his films .

The People vs. George Lucas quotes

    • Jay Sylvester: [regarding the changes made to the original Star Wars trilogy] George Lucas may be the brainchild behind Star Wars; he may have come up with the story and a lot of the characters, but everyone who participated in making those films had some type of creative input. I mean they won an Oscar for best special effects. Some of those effects are stripped out and replaced with CGI enhancements, if you wanna call them that. I think that that's really disrespectful to the people who worked on those models and did those shots.
