    In high school, he was too tall to be a cheerleader. After graduating from high school, he transferred to Boston University to study drama in the second year. After graduating from university in 1979, she moved to New York and started her career. She worked as a salesperson, waitress, and tried to find opportunities to be a model. At the age of 23, he finally became a contract model. While working as a model, he was spotted by the Hollywood producer and director Sidney Sydney Pollack , and played a small role in "Baby" (Tootsie) (1982), which won praise and entered the film industry ever since.
