I remember watching a documentary by DISCOVERY called Ultimate Athlete a long time ago. The film tells the life of the top players in competitive sports and those who are not yet top players. However, after watching ANY GIVEN SUNDAY, the screenwriter did not want this film to be inspirational....

Without the war, men's excess energy and heroic dreams can only be placed on the sports field; with one million and interstitial commercials, the rest seems to be only exhausted life. Are most of the female characters in the film just to show the stupidity of women? Are athletes worthy of "we'll rock u"? I love the ending! ps today found that some of my poor football knowledge seems to have become even less.
